CATSS certified for testing proficiency in active compounds of cannabis and hemp products for 2024.

The Department of Medical Sciences has officially announced the list of laboratories that passed the 2024 proficiency testing program for quantifying active compounds in medicinal cannabis products and cannabis/hemp plants. Center of Analytical Testing Standard Service for Medical Cannabis and Narcotic Plants (CATSS) has been certified under two key programs:

Assay of Active Substances in Medicinal Cannabis Products: THC and CBD - Program Code: P6702R1, organized by the Bureau of Drug and Narcotic. 

Assay of Total Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD) in Cannabis Plants - Program Code: PT CBP-1/2567, organized by Regional Medical Sciences Center 1 Chiang Mai.
